The old Cass Twp. (Shiloh) School was started as a boarding school with first recorded graduating class in 1883. The students started attending from the Cass Twp. and Blooming Grove Twp., single room schools and were in the first through 12th grades.
A Shiloh Elementary/Middle School was constructed on the old baseball field area in 1958-59 and a middle school building addition followed with the Shiloh Local School District annexation with Plymouth Local School district. This old Cass Twp. (Shiloh) High School was torn down in 1979-80.
